2016 Robot - Pathfinder

Team 5254:HYPE  had an incredible 3rd year of competition - qualified for the World Championships for the second year in row.  

At the Tech Valley Regional held at RPI the team finished ranked #2 and won the Industrial Design Award, which “celebrates form and function in an efficiently designed machine that effectively achieves the game design challenge.”

At the Finger Lakes Regional competition held at RIT the team finished ranked #1 and won the Quality Award, which "celebrates machine robustness in concept and fabrication."

  • Double tomahawk actuator arms for easy CDF and portcullis crossing
  • Capable of crossing the low bar, bumps, and CDF and then scoring in the high or low goal during auto
